使他们知道：惟独你名为耶和华的，是全地以上的至高者！

愿恶人的恶断绝！愿你坚立义人！因为公义的神察验人的心肠肺腑。

愿罪人从世上消灭！愿恶人归于无有！我的心哪，要称颂耶和华！你们要赞美耶和华！

原来我知道耶和华为大，也知道我们的主超乎万神之上。耶和华在天上，在地下，在海中，在一切的深处，都随自己的意旨而行。

“我要在我民以色列中显出我的圣名，也不容我的圣名再被亵渎，列国人就知道我是耶和华以色列中的圣者。

你们要休息，要知道我是神！我必在外邦中被尊崇，在遍地上也被尊崇。万军之耶和华与我们同在；雅各的神是我们的避难所！

耶和华的怒气向以色列人发作，使他们在旷野飘流四十年，等到在耶和华眼前行恶的那一代人都消灭了。

我必显为大，显为圣，在多国人的眼前显现；他们就知道我是耶和华。”

耶和华我们的神啊，现在求你救我们脱离亚述王的手，使天下万国都知道惟独你耶和华是神！”

自从离开加低斯巴尼亚，到过了撒烈溪的时候，共有三十八年，等那世代的兵丁都从营中灭尽，正如耶和华向他们所起的誓。耶和华的手也攻击他们，将他们从营中除灭，直到灭尽。“兵丁从民中都灭尽死亡以后，

今日耶和华必将你交在我手里。我必杀你，斩你的头，又将非利士军兵的尸首给空中的飞鸟、地上的野兽吃，使普天下的人都知道以色列中有神；又使这众人知道耶和华使人得胜，不是用刀用枪，因为争战的胜败全在乎耶和华。他必将你们交在我们手里。”

你必被赶出离开世人，与野地的兽同居，吃草如牛，被天露滴湿，且要经过七期。等你知道至高者在人的国中掌权，要将国赐与谁就赐与谁。

不要杀他们，恐怕我的民忘记。主啊，你是我们的盾牌；求你用你的能力使他们四散，且降为卑。

到了献晚祭的时候，先知以利亚近前来，说：“亚伯拉罕、以撒、以色列的神，耶和华啊，求你今日使人知道你是以色列的神，也知道我是你的仆人，又是奉你的命行这一切事。耶和华啊，求你应允我，应允我！使这民知道你耶和华是神，又知道是你叫这民的心回转。”

按你们窥探那地的四十日，一年顶一日，你们要担当罪孽四十年，就知道我与你们疏远了，我耶和华说过，我总要这样待这一切聚集敌我的恶会众；他们必在这旷野消灭，在这里死亡。’”

耶和华你神必将这些国的民从你面前渐渐赶出；你不可把他们速速灭尽，恐怕野地的兽多起来害你。耶和华你神必将他们交给你，大大地扰乱他们，直到他们灭绝了；

因为造你的是你的丈夫；万军之耶和华是他的名。救赎你的是以色列的圣者；他必称为全地之神。
