Therefore I swore in my wrath,“ They won’t enter into my rest.”

予怒而誓之、毋俾斯人、享余安息兮。

我遂震怒而誓曰、必不容其人享我安息、

吾憤乃誓。不令安寧。

So I declared on oath in my anger,‘ They shall never enter my rest.’”

So when I was angry, I made a promise. I said,‘ They will never enjoy the rest I planned for them.’ ”

Therefore I swore in my wrath,“ They shall not enter my rest.”

So in my anger I took an oath:‘ They will never enter my place of rest.’”

So I swore in my anger,“ They will not enter my rest.”

Therefore I swore in My anger, They certainly shall not enter My rest.”

So I swore in My wrath,‘ They shall not enter My rest.’”

Wherefore I sware in my wrath, That they should not enter into my rest.

So I swore in My anger,“ They will not enter My rest.”

Unto whom I sware in my wrath that they should not enter into my rest.

So I made a vow in my anger,‘ They will never enter into the resting place I had set aside for them.’”

For we who have believed do enter into that rest, even as he has said,“ As I swore in my wrath, they will not enter into my rest;” although the works were finished from the foundation of the world.

surely they shall not see the land which I swore to their fathers, neither shall any of those who despised me see it.

and in this place again,“ They will not enter into my rest.”

As I swore in my wrath,‘ They will not enter into my rest.’”

To whom did he swear that they wouldn’t enter into his rest, but to those who were disobedient?

for you haven’t yet come to the rest and to the inheritance which Yahweh your God gives you.

“ Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest.Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart; and you will find rest for your souls.

Yahweh heard the voice of your words and was angry, and swore, saying,“ Surely not one of these men of this evil generation shall see the good land which I swore to give to your fathers,

I heard a voice from heaven saying,“ Write,‘ Blessed are the dead who die in the Lord from now on.’”“ Yes,” says the Spirit,“ that they may rest from their labors; for their works follow with them.”

Tell them,‘ As I live, says Yahweh, surely as you have spoken in my ears, so I will do to you.Your dead bodies shall fall in this wilderness; and all who were counted of you, according to your whole number, from twenty years old and upward, who have complained against me,surely you shall not come into the land concerning which I swore that I would make you dwell therein, except Caleb the son of Jephunneh, and Joshua the son of Nun.

Yahweh says,“ Stand in the ways and see, and ask for the old paths,‘ Where is the good way?’ and walk in it, and you will find rest for your souls. But they said,‘ We will not walk in it.’

On the seventh day God finished his work which he had done; and he rested on the seventh day from all his work which he had done.God blessed the seventh day, and made it holy, because he rested in it from all his work of creation which he had done.

“ Yet let no man bring a charge, neither let any man accuse; for your people are like those who bring charges against a priest.You will stumble in the day, and the prophet will also stumble with you in the night; and I will destroy your mother.My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge. Because you have rejected knowledge, I will also reject you, that you may be no priest to me. Because you have forgotten your God’s law, I will also forget your children.As they were multiplied, so they sinned against me. I will change their glory into shame.They feed on the sin of my people, and set their heart on their iniquity.It will be, like people, like priest; and I will punish them for their ways, and will repay them for their deeds.They will eat, and not have enough. They will play the prostitute, and will not increase; because they have abandoned giving to Yahweh.Prostitution, wine, and new wine take away understanding.
