主耶和華對這些骸骨這樣說：看哪！我必使氣息進入你們裡面，你們就活過來了。我必使你們生筋長肉，給你們包上皮，又把氣息放入你們裡面，你們必活過來；你們就知道我是耶和華。’”於是我遵命說預言；我正在說預言的時候，就聽見有響聲，骨頭與骨頭互相結合起來，格格作響。我觀看，見骸骨生了筋，長了肉，又有皮包在上面，只是它們裡面還沒有氣息。他對我說：“你要向氣息說預言。人子啊！你要說預言。你要向氣息說：‘主耶和華這樣說：氣息啊！你要從四方（“四方”原文作“四風”）而來，吹在這些被殺的人身上，使它們活過來。’”於是我遵命說預言，氣息就進入骸骨裡面，骸骨就活過來，並且站起，成了一支極大的軍隊。他對我說：“人子啊！這些骸骨就是以色列全家；他們常說：‘我們的骸骨枯乾了，我們的盼望消失了；我們都滅亡了。’因此，你要說預言，對他們說：‘主耶和華這樣說：我的子民哪！我要打開你們的墳墓，把你們從墳墓中領上來，帶你們回以色列地去。我的子民哪！我打開你們的墳墓，把你們從墳墓中領上來的時候，你們就知道我是耶和華。我要把我的靈放在你們裡面，你們就活過來；我要把你們安頓在你們的土地上，你們就知道我耶和華說了，就必實行。這是主耶和華的宣告。’”

全體會眾和所有聽見這事的人，都很害怕。

亞拿尼亞一聽見這話，就仆倒斷了氣。所有聽見的人都十分害怕。

從各民族、各支派、各方言和各邦國中，都有人觀看他們的屍首三天半，又不許人把屍首安放在墳墓裡。

如果那使耶穌從死人中復活者的靈住在你們裡面，那使基督從死人中復活的，也必藉著住在你們裡面的聖靈，使你們必死的身體活過來。

就在那時，大地震發生了，那座城倒塌了十分之一，因著地震而死的有七千人，其餘的人都很害怕，就把榮耀歸給天上的神。

後來以色列人必歸回，尋求耶和華他們的神，尋求大衛他們的王。在末後的日子，他們必戰戰兢兢來到耶和華那裡，接受他的恩惠。

因為生命之靈的律在基督耶穌裡使我自由，脫離了罪和死的律。

這城必在地上萬國面前使我得名聲，得喜樂（按照《馬索拉文本》，“得名聲，得喜樂”應作“得喜樂的名聲”；現參照《七十士譯本》翻譯），得頌讚，得榮耀，因為萬國必聽見我向這城的人所施的一切福樂。他們因我向這城所施的一切福樂和平安，就都恐懼戰兢。’

對他們二人說：“我知道耶和華已經把這地賜給你們了，你們使我們十分害怕，這地所有的居民都在你們面前膽戰心驚。
