說完了這話，他們還在看的時候，他被接上升，有一朵雲把他接去，就看不見他了。

他們邊走邊談的時候，忽然，有火車火馬把他們二人分開，以利亞就在旋風中被接往天上去了。

然後，我們還活著存留的人，必和他們一同被提到雲裡，在空中與主相會。這樣，我們就要和主常常同在。

耶和華將要用旋風接以利亞往天上去的時候，以利亞和以利沙一起離開吉甲。

就在我們因過犯死了的時候，使我們與基督一同活過來，（你們得救是靠著恩典，）又使我們在基督耶穌裡，與他一同復活，一同坐在天上，

但那些仰望耶和華的人，必重新得力；他們必像鷹一樣展翅上騰；他們奔跑，也不困倦，他們行走，也不疲乏。

財主在陰間受痛苦，舉目遠遠望見亞伯拉罕，和他懷裡的拉撒路，

那些像雲彩飛來，像鴿子飛回巢裡的，是誰呢？

她生了一個男孩子，就是將來要用鐵杖治理列國的。她的孩子被提取到神和他寶座那裡去。

在耶利哥的先知門徒前來見以利沙，對他說：“你知道今天耶和華要接你的老師離開你嗎？”他說：“我已經知道了，你們別再多說。”

你心裡曾說：‘我要升到天上，我要高舉我的寶座到神的眾星之上，我要坐在聚會的山上，在北方的極處。

那時，你們就要再看出義人與惡人、事奉神的人和不事奉他的人之間有甚麼分別。”

耶和華啊！誰能在你的帳幕裡寄居？誰能在你的聖山上居住呢？（本節在《馬索拉文本》包括細字標題）

得勝的，我必定賜他和我一同坐在我的寶座上，正像我得了勝和我父一同坐在他的寶座上一樣。

求你向我顯出恩待我的記號，好使恨我的人看見了，就覺得羞愧；因為你耶和華幫助了我，安慰了我。

先知門徒中有五十人跟著他們，遠遠地站在他們對面；他們二人在約旦河河邊站著。

惡人看見就惱怒，他必咬牙切齒，身心耗損；惡人的心願必幻滅。

又使他們的車輪脫落，行駛困難，因此埃及人說：“我們從以色列人面前逃跑吧，因為耶和華為他們爭戰，攻擊埃及人了。”

誰能定我們的罪呢？有基督耶穌死了，而且復活了，現今在神的右邊，也替我們祈求。誰能使我們與基督的愛隔絕呢？是患難嗎？是困苦嗎？是迫害嗎？是飢餓嗎？是赤身露體嗎？是危險嗎？是刀劍嗎？正如經上所記：“為你的緣故，我們終日面對死亡，人看我們像待宰的羊。”但靠著愛我們的那一位，我們在這一切事上就得勝有餘了。

誰能登上耶和華的山？誰能站在他的聖所中呢？
