他大聲說：“應當敬畏神，把榮耀歸給他！因為他審判的時候到了，應當敬拜創造天、地、海和眾水泉源的那一位！”

於是有閃電、響聲、雷轟和大地震，自從地上有人以來，沒發生過這麼大的地震，那大城裂為三段，列國的城也都倒塌了。神也想起巴比倫大城來，要把自己烈怒的酒杯遞給它。

天使拿著香爐，用壇上的火把它裝滿了，投在地上；於是就有雷轟、響聲、閃電和地震。

於是，在天上神的聖所開了，他的約櫃就在他的聖所中顯現出來。隨即有閃電、響聲、雷轟、地震、大冰雹。

人被高熱燒烤，就褻瀆那有權柄掌管這些災難的神的名，並不悔改，把榮耀歸給他。第五位天使把碗倒在獸的座位上，獸的國就黑暗了。人因為痛苦就咬自己的舌頭。他們又因為所受的痛苦和所生的瘡，褻瀆天上的神，並不為自己所作的悔改。

主啊！誰敢不敬畏你，不榮耀你的名呢？因為只有你是神聖的，萬國都要來，在你面前下拜，因為你公義的作為已經顯明出來了。”

我們要歡喜快樂，把榮耀歸給他！因為羊羔的婚期到了；他的新娘也自己預備好了。

耶和華你們的神還沒有使黑暗臨到以前，你們的腳還沒有在昏暗的山上絆倒之前，你們要把榮耀歸給他。你們期待光明，他卻把光明變為死蔭，使光明變成黝黑。

耶和華啊！你增添國民；你增添國民，你得了榮耀，又拓展了地的四境。耶和華啊！我們在急難中尋求你；你的懲罰臨到我們身上的時候，我們就傾心吐意低聲禱告。

海裡受造的活物死了三分之一，船隻也毀壞了三分之一。第三位天使吹號，就有一顆燃燒著的大星，好像火把一樣，從天上落下來，落在江河的三分之一上，和眾水的泉源上。這星名叫“苦堇”。眾水的三分之一變為“苦堇”，因水變苦，就有許多人因為這水而死了。第四位天使吹號，太陽的三分之一、月亮的三分之一、星辰的三分之一，就都受到擊打，以致日月星的三分之一都變黑了，白天的三分之一沒有光，夜晚也是這樣。

過了三天半，有生命的氣息從神那裡來，進入他們裡面，他們就站立起來，看見他們的人都非常懼怕。

在那些日子和以後的日子，有巨人在地上；神的兒子和人的女子結合，就生了上古英武有名的人物。

所以你們要做痔瘡的像和毀壞田地的老鼠的像，還要把榮耀歸給以色列的神。也許他會向你們、你們的神和你們的田地手下留情。

萬軍之耶和華說：“你們若不聽從，若不放在心上，不把榮耀歸給我的名，我就使咒詛臨到你們中間，我要咒詛你們應得的福分，並且已經咒詛了，因為你們沒有把這命令放在心上。

我又看見一隻獸從海裡上來，有十角七頭，十角上戴著十個皇冠，七頭上有褻瀆的名號。我所看見的獸，樣子好像豹，腳像熊的腳，口像獅子的口。龍把自己的能力、王位和大權柄，都交給了牠。獸的七頭中有一個似乎受了致命傷，但那致命傷卻醫好了。全地的人都很驚奇，跟從那獸。

然而在撒狄你還有幾名是未曾玷污自己衣服的，他們要身穿白衣與我同行；因為他們是配得上的。
