則上帝必怒之、俾飲鴆酒、盛酒於杯、厥味甚烈、亦以火與硫、困苦其人、於羔及聖天使前、

必飲天主盛怒之酒、乃無所攙雜者、斟於天主盛怒之杯、又必受苦於火與硫磺中、在諸聖天使及羔之前、

將飲天主罰杯中之真霹靂酒；且將於聖天神及羔羊之前受火與硫璜之苦刑；

they, too, will drink the wine of God’s fury, which has been poured full strength into the cup of his wrath. They will be tormented with burning sulfur in the presence of the holy angels and of the Lamb.

耶路撒冷啊，喚醒自己，喚醒自己，站起來吧！你從耶和華手中喝了他怒火之杯，喝盡了那使人踉蹌的杯盞。

他必向惡人密布網羅，火、硫磺、灼熱的風是他們杯中的份。

那大城裂為三個部分，列國的城市也都倒塌了。神也想起大巴比倫，要把自己烈怒之酒的杯子遞給她。

然後那迷惑他們的魔鬼被丟進烈火和硫磺的湖裡，就是那獸和那假先知所在的地方；他們將日夜受折磨，直到永永遠遠。

她怎樣待人，你們也要怎樣待她，並照著她的行為加倍地報應她；你們要在她混合酒的杯子裡，加倍地混合給她喝。

但那獸被抓了；那假先知也與牠一起被抓了——他在獸面前行了許多奇蹟，藉此迷惑那些接受獸的印記並膜拜獸像的人。獸和那假先知兩個都活生生地被丟進燃燒著硫磺的火湖裡。

原來在耶和華的手中有杯，杯中酒泛著泡沫，充滿混合物；他倒出酒，地上所有的惡人都必須喝，甚至連杯中的渣滓都要喝盡！

那時王要對在左邊的人說：『你們這些被詛咒的人！離開我！進到那已經為魔鬼和他的使者們所預備好的永遠的火裡去！

那時，耶和華就使硫磺與火從天而降，從耶和華那裡降在所多瑪和格摩拉，

但那些膽怯的、不信的、可憎的、殺人的、淫亂的、行邪術的、拜偶像的，和所有說謊的人，他們的份就在燃燒著烈火和硫磺的湖裡。這是第二次的死亡。」

神要在烈火中報應那些不認識神的人，以及那些不順從我們主耶穌福音的人；他們將受到刑罰，就是永遠的滅亡，從主面前被隔絕，離開他權能的榮耀。

原來，那焚燒場早已安排好了，是為君王所預備的；它又深又寬，其中充滿了火和許多木柴；耶和華的氣息如同一股硫磺火使它燃燒起來。

因此，你這困苦的、非因酒而醉的，要聽這話！你的主耶和華，為子民辯屈的神如此說：「看哪！我已經從你手中拿走了使人踉蹌的杯，就是我怒火的杯盞，你絕不會再喝它了。

同樣，所多瑪、格摩拉及其周圍的城市，照著他們的樣子放縱行淫，隨從變態的肉慾，就遭受永火的刑罰，成為我們的鑒戒。

原來萬國都喝了她淫亂憤怒的酒，地上的眾君王曾與她行淫亂，地上的商人也由於她極度的驕奢淫逸而發了財。」

人子要差派他的天使們，從他的國度裡挑出來所有絆腳的和作惡的，把他們丟進火爐裡。在那裡將有哀哭和切齒。

以東的溪流將變成柏油，它的塵土將變成硫磺，它的土地將成為燃燒著的柏油——

在這世代的終結也將是這樣。天使們要出去，把惡人從義人中分別出來，丟進火爐裡。在那裡將有哀哭和切齒。」

我在異象中看見的那些馬和騎馬的是這樣：他們穿著火紅色、紫瑪瑙色、硫磺色的護胸甲；馬的頭像獅子的頭，從牠們的口中有火、煙、硫磺噴出來。由於這三樣災害，就是從馬口中所噴出的火、煙、硫磺，人類的三分之一被殺了。

你們驚呆，驚奇吧！你們自我蒙蔽，繼續蒙蔽吧！你們醉了不是因為酒，你們搖搖晃晃不是因為烈酒，

你使你的子民遇見艱難，讓我們喝了使人踉蹌的酒。

你當等候耶和華，謹守他的道路；他就高舉你，使你繼承地土；惡人被剪除的時候，你必看到。

你只要用眼觀看，就會看到惡人的報應。

耶穌就回答說：「你們不知道自己在求什麼。我將要喝的杯，你們能喝嗎？」他們說：「我們能。」

耶穌稍往前走，把臉伏在地上禱告說：「我父啊，如果有可能，讓這杯離開我吧！但不要照我的意願，而要照你的意願。」

義人看見，就會心存敬畏，並且譏笑這人：

因此連神的子民也轉向那裡，喝了他們大量的水。
