Now, however, I am on my way to Jerusalem in the service of the Lord’s people there.

At present, however, I am going to Jerusalem bringing aid to the saints.

But before I come, I must go to Jerusalem to take a gift to the believers there.

Now after all these things had taken place, Paul resolved to go to Jerusalem, passing through Macedonia and Achaia. He said,“ After I have been there, I must also see Rome.”

After several years I came to bring to my people gifts for the poor and to present offerings,

And now, compelled by the Spirit, I am going to Jerusalem without knowing what will happen to me there,

For Paul had decided to sail past Ephesus so as not to spend time in the province of Asia, for he was hurrying to arrive in Jerusalem, if possible, by the day of Pentecost.

They requested only that we remember the poor, the very thing I also was eager to do.

but said farewell to them and added,“ I will come back to you again if God wills.” Then he set sail from Ephesus,

With regard to the collection for the saints, please follow the directions that I gave to the churches of Galatia:On the first day of the week, each of you should set aside some income and save it to the extent that God has blessed you, so that a collection will not have to be made when I come.Then, when I arrive, I will send those whom you approve with letters of explanation to carry your gift to Jerusalem.

For Macedonia and Achaia are pleased to make some contribution for the poor among the saints in Jerusalem.For they were pleased to do this, and indeed they are indebted to the Jerusalem saints. For if the Gentiles have shared in their spiritual things, they are obligated also to minister to them in material things.Therefore after I have completed this and have safely delivered this bounty to them, I will set out for Spain by way of you,and I know that when I come to you I will come in the fullness of Christ’s blessing.Now I urge you, brothers and sisters, through our Lord Jesus Christ and through the love of the Spirit, to join fervently with me in prayer to God on my behalf.Pray that I may be rescued from those who are disobedient in Judea and that my ministry in Jerusalem may be acceptable to the saints,
