『永恆主必像先前賜勝利給猶大的帳棚，使大衛家的光榮跟耶路撒冷居民的光榮不至於勝過猶大其餘城市的光榮。

耶和華必先救猶大之幕、俾大衛家與耶路撒冷居民之榮、不得越於猶大、

我耶和華必先救猶大之帷幕、使大闢家之華美、耶路撒冷之榮顯、不復藐視猶大、

主必先救猶大之帷幕、帷幕或作營為欲使大衛家及耶路撒冷居民、不得向猶大民自誇、向猶大民自誇或作自榮藐視猶大

“ The Lord will save the dwellings of Judah first, so that the honor of the house of David and of Jerusalem’s inhabitants may not be greater than that of Judah.

“ I will save the houses in Judah first. The honor of David’s family line is great. So is the honor of those who live in Jerusalem. But their honor will not be greater than the honor of the rest of Judah.

“ And the Lord will give salvation to the tents of Judah first, that the glory of the house of David and the glory of the inhabitants of Jerusalem may not surpass that of Judah.

“ The Lord will give victory to the rest of Judah first, before Jerusalem, so that the people of Jerusalem and the royal line of David will not have greater honor than the rest of Judah.

The LORD will save the tents of Judah first, so that the glory of David’s house and the glory of Jerusalem’s residents may not be greater than that of Judah.

The Lord also will save the tents of Judah first, so that the glory of the house of David and the glory of the inhabitants of Jerusalem will not be greater than Judah.

“ The Lord will save the tents of Judah first, so that the glory of the house of David and the glory of the inhabitants of Jerusalem shall not become greater than that of Judah.

Jehovah also shall save the tents of Judah first, that the glory of the house of David and the glory of the inhabitants of Jerusalem be not magnified above Judah.

The LORD also will deliver the homes of Judah first, so that the splendor of the kingship of David and of the people of Jerusalem may not exceed that of Judah.

Yahweh also will save the tents of Judah first, that the glory of David’s house and the glory of the inhabitants of Jerusalem not be magnified above Judah.

到那日，人眼目的高慢必成卑賤，人的高傲也必會降卑，唯獨耶和華被高舉。因為必有萬軍之耶和華的一個日子，臨到所有傲慢高傲的和所有自高的，使他們成為卑賤；又臨到所有高聳挺拔的黎巴嫩香柏樹和所有巴珊的橡樹，臨到所有的高山和所有的峻嶺，臨到所有高大的塔樓和所有堅固的城牆，臨到所有塔爾施的船和所有華美的艇。到那日，人的高慢必會降卑，人的高傲必成卑賤；唯獨耶和華被高舉，

因為我曾說：「不要讓他們對我幸災樂禍；我的腳動搖時，不要讓他們在我面前高抬自己。」

既然如此，還有什麼可誇耀的呢？根本沒有。憑著什麼法則呢？憑著行為的法則嗎？不是！而是憑著信的法則。

那時候，耶穌說：「父啊，天地的主，我讚美你，因為你把這些事向有智慧的和有學問的人隱藏起來，而向小孩子們顯明出來。是的，父啊！因為這正是你的美意。

這約當天就被廢除了。這樣，那仰望我的困苦羊群，就知道這是耶和華的話語。

願那些對我幸災樂禍的，全都抱愧蒙羞；願那些在我面前高抬自己的，披上恥辱和羞愧。

不過他賜下更大的恩典，所以經上說：「神抵擋驕傲的人，賜恩典給謙卑的人。」

不過我們有這寶物在瓦器裡，為要顯明這極大的能力是出於神，不是出於我們。我們處處受患難，卻不被壓碎；心裡困惑，卻沒有絕望；受逼迫，卻不被撇棄；被打倒，卻沒有滅亡。我們身上總是帶著耶穌的死，好讓耶穌的生命也在我們身上顯明出來。的確，我們這些活著的人，為了耶穌的緣故，總是被置於死地，好讓耶穌的生命也顯明在我們這會死的肉體上。這樣，死亡在我們裡面做工，而生命卻在你們裡面做工。

法利賽人說：「難道你們也被迷惑了嗎？難道首領或法利賽人中有信他的嗎？這不懂律法的民眾是被詛咒的！」

弟兄們，想一想你們所蒙的召喚：按人的標準，你們當中有智慧的不多，有權勢的不多，出身高貴的也不多。然而神卻揀選了世上愚拙的，為了使那些有智慧的羞愧；神又揀選了世上軟弱的，為了使那些強壯的羞愧；神也揀選了世上出身低微的、被人藐視的，就是那些不是什麼的，為了要廢除那些是個什麼的，好使所有的人在神面前都不能自誇，但本於神，你們卻是在基督耶穌裡的。基督耶穌為我們成了從神而來的智慧、公義、聖潔和救贖，為要像經上所記的：「誇耀的當在主裡誇耀。」

是萬軍之耶和華策劃了這事，為要折辱一切因華美而來的誇耀，使地上一切有尊榮的被藐視。

其實不是仇敵辱罵我——如果是，我還可以承受；也不是恨我的人在我面前高抬自己——如果是，我還可以躲藏。

他用膀臂施展大能，驅散那些心思意念驕傲的人。他把權能者從高位上拉下，又把卑微的人高舉。他用美物滿足飢餓的人，讓富有的人空手而去。

我親愛的弟兄們，請聽！神難道不是揀選了世上的那些貧窮人，使他們在信仰上富有，並且做他國度的繼承人嗎？這國度是他應許給愛他之人的。

他應聲告訴我說：「這是耶和華對所羅巴伯說的話：『不是靠勢力，不是靠能力，而是靠我的靈。』萬軍之耶和華說：

那時候，耶穌受了聖靈的感動就快樂，說：「父啊，天地的主，我讚美你，因為你把這些事向有智慧的和有學問的人隱藏起來，而向小孩子們顯明出來。是的，父啊！因為這正是你的美意。」
