For thus saith the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel; The daughter of Babylon[ is] like a threshingfloor,[ it is] time to thresh her: yet a little while, and the time of her harvest shall come.

This is what the Lord Almighty, the God of Israel, says:“ Daughter Babylon is like a threshing floor at the time it is trampled; the time to harvest her will soon come.”

The Lord who rules over all is the God of Israel. He says,“ The city of Babylon is like a threshing floor when cattle are walking on it. The time to destroy it will soon come.”

For thus says the Lord of hosts, the God of Israel: The daughter of Babylon is like a threshing floor at the time when it is trodden; yet a little while and the time of her harvest will come.”

This is what the Lord of Heaven’s Armies, the God of Israel, says:“ Babylon is like wheat on a threshing floor, about to be trampled. In just a little while her harvest will begin.”

For this is what the LORD of Armies, the God of Israel, says: Daughter Babylon is like a threshing floor at the time it is trampled. In just a little while her harvest time will come.

For this is what the Lord of armies, the God of Israel says:“ The daughter of Babylon is like a threshing floor At the time that it is tread down; In just a little while the time of harvest will come for her.”

O my threshing, and the corn of my floor: that which I have heard of the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel, have I declared unto you.

Put ye in the sickle, for the harvest is ripe: come, get you down; for the press is full, the fats overflow; for their wickedness[ is] great.

Also, O Judah, he hath set an harvest for thee, when I returned the captivity of my people.

Behold, I will make thee a new sharp threshing instrument having teeth: thou shalt thresh the mountains, and beat[ them] small, and shalt make the hills as chaff.Thou shalt fan them, and the wind shall carry them away, and the whirlwind shall scatter them: and thou shalt rejoice in the LORD,[ and] shalt glory in the Holy One of Israel.

Arise and thresh, O daughter of Zion: for I will make thine horn iron, and I will make thy hoofs brass: and thou shalt beat in pieces many people: and I will consecrate their gain unto the LORD, and their substance unto the Lord of the whole earth.

The enemy that sowed them is the devil; the harvest is the end of the world; and the reapers are the angels.

Thou didst march through the land in indignation, thou didst thresh the heathen in anger.

And it shall be as when the harvestman gathereth the corn, and reapeth the ears with his arm; and it shall be as he that gathereth ears in the valley of Rephaim.Yet gleaning grapes shall be left in it, as the shaking of an olive tree, two[ or] three berries in the top of the uppermost bough, four[ or] five in the outmost fruitful branches thereof, saith the LORD God of Israel.At that day shall a man look to his Maker, and his eyes shall have respect to the Holy One of Israel.And he shall not look to the altars, the work of his hands, neither shall respect[ that] which his fingers have made, either the groves, or the images.In that day shall his strong cities be as a forsaken bough, and an uppermost branch, which they left because of the children of Israel: and there shall be desolation.Because thou hast forgotten the God of thy salvation, and hast not been mindful of the rock of thy strength, therefore shalt thou plant pleasant plants, and shalt set it with strange slips:In the day shalt thou make thy plant to grow, and in the morning shalt thou make thy seed to flourish:[ but] the harvest[ shall be] a heap in the day of grief and of desperate sorrow.

And another angel came out of the temple, crying with a loud voice to him that sat on the cloud, Thrust in thy sickle, and reap: for the time is come for thee to reap; for the harvest of the earth is ripe.And he that sat on the cloud thrust in his sickle on the earth; and the earth was reaped.And another angel came out of the temple which is in heaven, he also having a sharp sickle.And another angel came out from the altar, which had power over fire; and cried with a loud cry to him that had the sharp sickle, saying, Thrust in thy sharp sickle, and gather the clusters of the vine of the earth; for her grapes are fully ripe.And the angel thrust in his sickle into the earth, and gathered the vine of the earth, and cast[ it] into the great winepress of the wrath of God.And the winepress was trodden without the city, and blood came out of the winepress, even unto the horse bridles, by the space of a thousand[ and] six hundred furlongs.

Thus saith the LORD; For three transgressions of Damascus, and for four, I will not turn away[ the punishment] thereof; because they have threshed Gilead with threshing instruments of iron:

Let both grow together until the harvest: and in the time of harvest I will say to the reapers, Gather ye together first the tares, and bind them in bundles to burn them: but gather the wheat into my barn.

For afore the harvest, when the bud is perfect, and the sour grape is ripening in the flower, he shall both cut off the sprigs with pruning hooks, and take away[ and] cut down the branches.
