如今呢、你為甚麼大聲哭號呢？難道你中間竟沒有王，或是你的謀士都滅亡了，以致產痛抓住了你、像抓住了生產的婦人麼？錫安小姐啊，絞痛而衝出、像生產的婦人吧！因為你如今快要從這都市出來，住在野外，去到巴比倫；在那裏你必得援救，在那裏永恆主必贖回你脫離你仇敵的手掌。

這一切事卻只是災難的起頭。

『萬軍之永恆主這麼說：看吧，必有災禍從這國發出，延到那國；必有大狂風從地之極處激動起來。

他們立你自己所慣視為良友的為首來轄制你，那你還有甚麼話說呢？痛苦豈不將你抓住，像抓住生產的婦人一樣呢？

對他說：『希西家這麼說：「今日是有急難、受責罰、受侮慢的日子；就如嬰兒臨到生產的關頭，卻沒有力量生出來。

當那日必有很大的紛亂驚慌由永恆主降與他們：他們各人必都揪住別人的手，各人的手必都舉起來互相攻擊。
