Then I acknowledged my sin to you and did not cover up my iniquity. I said,“ I will confess my transgressions to the Lord.” And you forgave the guilt of my sin.

Then I admitted my sin to you. I didn’t cover up the wrong I had done. I said,“ I will admit my lawless acts to the Lord.” And you forgave the guilt of my sin.

彼未祈予、予應其祈、啟口之際、我已俯聞。

大闢核民既畢、中心不安、禱於耶和華曰、我所行者、大干罪戾、不智孰甚、求耶和華宥僕之過。

言於眾前曰、我昔犯罪、蹈於非義、所為無益、

予自言己罪、恆念己惡、我蹈愆尤、獲罪於爾、即責予、爾亦稱義、即鞫予、爾亦為善兮。我母懷妊、生我於世、當此之時、我有罪戾、

自匿其非、不得納福、任過而改、可獲矜憫、

彼必曰、耶和華既戕我、必醫痊我、既擊我、必彌縫我、莫若歸之、

彼此仁愛、惠心、上帝緣基督赦爾罪、爾當互相赦罪焉、

悔曰、我父若多傭人、其糧有餘、我乃饑而死乎、我將反就父曰、我獲罪於天、及於父前、今而後、不堪稱為爾子、視我如傭人足矣、於是反就父相去尚遠、父見憫之、趨抱其頸、接吻焉、其子曰、我獲罪於天、及父於前、今而後、不堪稱為爾子、父命諸僕曰、取美服衣之、施鐶於指、履於足、牽肥犢宰之、我儕食而樂焉、

我言無罪、則自欺而失真理、若我任罪、上帝公義、言出惟行、將赦我罪、滌我愆尤、自謂無罪、是以上帝言為不然、去道不亦遠乎、

彼也宥余罪愆、醫余疾病兮、

其怒不過俄頃、彼加予恩、藉以得生、雖夤夜而哭泣、朝來則有歡聲兮、

吾語汝、婦多罪而赦之、則其愛亦多、赦之少者、其愛亦少、

主無不善、恆施赦宥、凡籲爾者、爾加以矜憫兮。

譬諸東之遠於西、除我罪愆、不加責罰兮、

爾自為無罪、冀予弗怒、爾不任過、我必鞫爾。

約書亞告亞干曰、吾子宜尊耶和華、以色列之上帝、任過於其前、以所行告我、勿隱。

耶穌曰、爾在人前以義自稱、爾之心、上帝知之、蓋人所崇者、上帝所惡也、

我耶和華爾之上帝、爾違逆予、不遵我命、入諸茂林、崇事他上帝、今當任過。

耶和華曰、以法蓮豈非我之赤子、我所眷愛者哉、予責之、輒生憐念、予矜憫為懷、復加以撫恤。

惟主上帝、仁慈矜憫、恆忍不已、施恩格外、踐其前言兮、

我不若他人、自隱其罪、不言己過。

何藐視我命、行惡於我前、藉亞捫族之刃、殺赫人烏利亞、而取其妻為妻。

淫婦之行亦然、任私欲、滅其跡、曰、我未行淫。

爾豈得曰、不染污衊、未從巴力乎。爾於谷中所行、爾自知之、如牝駱駝、相誘以風、馳逐遠去。

曰、人豈可欺上帝哉、惟爾欺我、爾曰、何欺爾、曰、不納什一、不獻禮物、

爾曹猶有孑遺、處於敵國、為一己之愆尤、並前人之罪戾、日漸消亡。如其能任己愆、及前人之罪、自知差失、所行逆我、
